In March 2015 we welcomed Shayne as our new manager and he has been very busy since. Shayne has a background in the meatworks, justice and health sectors and an Executive Masters in Business Administration.

Kaiwhakawhanake-a-Hapū – Hapū Development Manager
Jarrod was born in Wellington but raised and educated in his parents’ hometown of Hawkes Bay. He is very happy to return home with his young whānau after 5 years in China. Jarrod’s role is to build our Hapū capability to improve the social outcomes and quality of life for our whānau. Jarrod has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Māori and Psychology, as well as a National Certificate in Exercise Science.

Kaiwhakahaere Tari – Office Manager
Charmaine was born and bred in Tangoio. She has worked tirelessly for MTT as Administrator for four years. Her role has changed in this post-settlement phase, and she is now Office Manager. Charmaine has experience in administration and finance, is a current Trustee for MTT and has recently resigned as Marae Chairperson.

Kaiwhakahaere Whakapā – Communications Manager
Hayley’s partner (Rangitane Taurima) and their tamariki are from our Hapū of Maungaharuru-Tangitū. Hayley has worked for MTT for a couple of years as Project Manager. Hayley’s new role expands on the communications and registrations mahi (work) for MTT. She works part-time as she cares for her two young tamariki. Hayley has a PhD in Conservation Genetics and a Diploma in Arts (Māori Studies).
